During his tenure with QNB, he served as General Manager – Asia Pacific, contributing significantly to regional expansion initiatives, including the establishment and growth of operations in countries such as Indonesia, China, and Singapore. Having worked closely with global financial leaders, dignitaries, ambassadors, and senior government officials, he developed a deep understanding of international banking, strategic decision-making, and institutional growth at the highest levels.

An alumnus of Anna University, he currently serves as Research Director at ANCIT, where he leads cutting-edge innovation in AUTOSAR architecture, Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), automotive cybersecurity, and intelligent mobility platforms. He is widely recognised for his technical publications, thought leadership in ECU software design and vehicle network technologies, and his deep contributions to automotive engineering education.

A native of Erode, Dr. Madhu Shankar completed his MBBS and post-graduation in Medicine at Government Stanley Medical College with distinction, earning three Gold Medals for excellence in Nephrology, Gastroenterology, and General Medicine. He pursued advanced Nephrology training at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and gained international clinical exposure as a Clinical Fellow in Nephrology in Toronto. A specialist in clinical Hypertension certified by the American Society of Hypertension, he has been serving at Sri Ramakrishna Hospital since 2016, with expertise in renal transplantation, hypertension, kidney disorders in pregnancy, and acute renal diseases. Beyond medicine, he is an accomplished long-distance runner and the only doctor from Tamil Nadu to have run on all seven continents, including Antarctica. Known for his calm demeanour, humility, and positive outlook, Dr. Madhu Shankar brings a unique perspective of discipline, resilience, and human-centred thinking to the board.
